Former Everton and Real Madrid wing-back Royston Drenthe remains without a club.

The Dutchman left Everton at the end of last season after being on-loan at Goodison Park from Real.

Now off contract, Drenthe was rejected by PSV this week.

Voetbal International says Drenthe asked to trial at PSV, but was turned down as management felt they were well covered in his position.
