Dutch pundits are backing PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay to join Manchester United. Depay is also being linked with PSG and Bayern Munich this week.

"Depay is a fantastic player. I love his shooting technique. If you were manager at Manchester United would you buy him?" former Ajax star Jan Mulder asked fellow Studio Football pundit Jan van Halst, the ex-Twente ace.

"That depends," he responded. "What does the team need?"

Mulder continued: "Depay will go the same way as Eden Hazard and Robin van Persie. After six months in England he will be a class better."

Former Porto coach Co Adriaanse, meanwhile, hopes Depay makes the right choice.

"With (Louis) Van Gaal he will do much better than at Paris Saint-Germain."
