Ex-Crystal Palace boss Pardew linked with Melbourne City

Sacked Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is being linked with a move to Australia.

The Sun says he has been linked with a stunning move to Melbourne City in the Australian A-League.

The Crystal Palace hero was axed from his role at Selhurst Park and replaced by Sam Allardyce.

He was spotted watching Sutton United's 0-0 draw with Wimbledon yesterday but could soon be on a jet Down Under.

Manchester City owners City Football Group also have Melbourne City in their portfolio and it remains a possibility that the bosses could have been impressed with Pardew's history in the Premier League.

The Aussie side are currently without a manager after John van't Schip resigned earlier this week.
