Former Colorado Rapids midfielder Pat Noonan is training with DC United.

The 29-year old was released by the Rapids last week after just one season and after reports that Seattle Sounders were interested, it has now been confirmed that he is training with DC.

Noonan began his MLS career with a bang, scoring 29 goals in his first three seasons with New England Revolution before he moved to Aalesunds FK in Norway but since his successful early days, however, Noonan has been hit by injuries which in turn have affected his form.
