Former Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle enjoyed a winning debut for VfL Wolfsburg.
Schurrle featured in victory over Hoffenheim.
"I am glad that I could help the team immediately, but for me there is more to do," said Schurrle, beaming.
"I am very, very happy because we won 3-0. That's what counts."
He added: "I felt really comfortable. The team has been excellent to me and made it very easy for me to integrate myself. I immediately felt at home, and I can only give compliments to the squad for that."
