Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino sees Manchester United as title challengers - this season.
Cascarino believes the recruitment of Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria, along with Ander Herrera, Radamel Falcao and Daley Blind is crucial to a United resurgence.
He said: "I think that they will be the main contenders to Chelsea and City.
"I feel that they have goals in their team.
"Years ago, Sir Alex Ferguson had a side full of goals with the likes of Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They were strikers that could change games.
"He also had pace in the wide areas. And in the 4-0 win over QPR last week, Di Maria basically changed the game.
"He was sensational all afternoon. He was the difference. His first intent is to get on the ball and run at people. United haven't had this for a long time."
