Former Chelsea defender Paulo Ferreira is ready to resume his playing career.

The Daily Express says Ferreira is at the centre of a tug of war between Leicester City and Derby County.

Now a free agent, he has carried on training with a club and in his homeland and wants to play on for at least another season if he can find a new team in England.
