Former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri has hit out at the way the UK government has treated Roman Abramovich.
Abramovich has seen his British assets seized by the government - including Chelsea - due to claims of his ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin following the invasion of Ukraine.
Ranieri was asked about the situation and highlighted that Abramovich answered a call from Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky to help broker peace talks last month.
He told Il Corriere dello Sport: "It seems to me that the president of Ukraine described him as a man above all suspicion, he is working towards a solution.
"Anyone who fights for peace must be supported. We hope it will be an Easter of peace, but it is difficult."
