Ex-Chelsea, Barcelona striker having West Ham medical
Eidur Gudjohnsen is set to undergo a medical at Championship club West Ham United today.
The 32-year old Iceland international is on the verge of joining the Hammers as a free agent after his deal with Stoke City expired at the end of last season.
Gudjohnsen has spent time with Chelsea and Barcelona in the past as well as a loan at Fulham last season and had emerged as a target for Premier League newcomers Swansea City but is now set to link up with his former Bolton boss Sam Allardyce at Upton Park.
