Ex-Chelsea, Arsenal defender Gallas adjusting to Perth Glory life

William Gallas says he is slowly getting used to training with Perth Glory as well as learning who his new teammates are.

The 36-year old former Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham defender officially joined the A-League club on Monday and is now into training with the full squad ahead of what could be his debut against Adelaide United at nib Stadium this Saturday.

"Today was a good test, it was not easy and I am a little tired from my second session but I was very happy because today we played 24 minutes and I could finish the session so now I'm looking forward to being ready for Saturday," said Gallas in regards to training this week.

As for finding out exactly who his new teammates are, Gallas added: "Every night I go on the website and I look at all the players and I try to come in the morning and try to say hello, so today was not too bad.

"It is difficult because there are 24 players and I have to know all their names. I already know the name of my defence line so that is very important and I think everyone is happy."
