Former Chelsea and Arsenal defender David Luiz is being lined up for a shock return to Europe.

Luiz has spent the past year with Flamengo after leaving Arsenal last summer.

The veteran stopper is off contract at Fla in December and eager to return to Europe for the new season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says agents have offered Luiz to Inter Milan.

For the moment, Inter have showed little enthusiasm, however the Brazilian could arrive to replace veteran stopper Andrea Ranocchia.
