Dundee United striker Michael Gardyne has revealed that his former Celtic teammate Aiden McGeady has given him important information regarding their upcoming Europa League qualifier.
The Tangerines take on Dynamo Moscow in the home leg on August 2 before the return bout in Russia a week later and Gardyne says the Scottish club has some good tips on how to beat their opposition courtesy of Spartak Moscow winger McGeady.
"I spoke to Aiden about Moscow and he told me they are a really good team," United new boy Gardyne said.
!The first thing I thought about when the draw was made was I could chat to Aiden and get information from him about Dynamo as he has been in Russia for two years now with Spartak.
"He has been brilliant with the info. I have passed it on and it will certainly add to what the gaffer can dig up on them.
"We think we can win the tie and Aiden also thinks we can go through."
