Former Brighton striker Bobby Zamora says Lewis Dunk should be with the England squad this week.
The Albion skipper is again watching from afar as the national team go into action.
Zamora told the Footy, The Albion and Me podcast: “There is definitely a snobbery in what team you come from.
“You are certainly given one, two, three more chances if you're from a bigger club.
“Dunky, I believe, is probably one of the best centre-halves in the Premier League.
“If he was at Arsenal, if he was at Manchester United, he would have been in the England squad a long, long time ago and more consistently.
“He has come from Brighton. If the training sessions don't go amazingly well, that's it. You are given one or two chances and then 'he's not good enough'.
“If you play for a big club you are certainly going to get a few more chances, I believe."
