Former Borussia Dortmund and Real Zaragoza striker Ewerthon is being linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion.
Reports suggest that Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo has added the 29-year old to his list of wanted strikers after he missed out on John Carew who recently joined Stoke City.
Brazilian-born Ewerthon, who has played for both Corinthians and Palmeiras, has a Spanish passport so would not require an EU visa and is a free agent so would cost the club nothing.
