Aaron Mooy believes his move to the A-League has turned out very well for him from an individual perspective.
The 22-year old former Bolton Wanderers youngster departed Scottish club St Mirren for Western Sydney Wanderers in June and admits he is loving playing back in Australia.
"It really has turned out to be a great move," Mooy told AAP.
"I never thought I'd come back home and end up in the Socceroos.
"Things have been going really well for me at the moment.
"When I was in Scotland, I was a bit frustrated because I wasn't playing much.
"But I've been given a really great opportunity to get regular game time at the Wanderers.
"So now I'm just enjoying my football more than ever and I'm really happy to be back around my family."
