Ex-Bolton, Chelsea defender Bel-Haim to quit Portsmouth

Tal Ben-Haim will leave Portsmouth in the summer because he does not want to play League One says his agent.

The 30-year old Israeli international joined Pompey from Manchester City in 2009 - after stints with Bolton, Chelsea and Sunderland - but will play his last match for the relegated Championship club this weekend according to his representative Pini Zahavi.

"Tal will not play in League One next season," Zahavi told The News.

"There is interest in him from other clubs. We are looking and when there is something to announce I will announce it. But he definitely will not be playing in League One for Portsmouth."
