Norway international Morten Gamst Pedersen is of the belief that the England national team needs more time to unite.
The former Blackburn Rovers star, now with homeland club Rosenborg, is getting set to take on the Three Lions in a friendly at Wembley on Wednesday and feels Roy Hodgson's youthful squad requires some patience in order to be a top quality side.
"England will always have a fear factor," the 32-year old winger said.
"There is the Premier League and the team has players who are known all around the world so they will always be feared.
"They are creating a new team and they will need a lot of time to settle.
"I hope for England and for the rest of the world that they come back to the top because they are so important for football worldwide."
