Former England striker and Match of the Day Host Gary Lineker has reportedly taken a pay cut at the BBC in order to host BT Sport's Champions League coverage as of next season.
BT Sport obtained the rights for the UEFA Champions League over the next three seasons for a reported fee of £897million, and are expected to reveal Lineker as their figurehead, according to the Telegraph.
Recently retired QPR defender Rio Ferdinand is also expected to be given a bigger punditry role, in a lineup that will be announced next Tuesday by the broadcaster.
