Ex-Barcelona, Stoke star Bojan seeking enjoyment with Montreal Impact

Former Barcelona and Stoke City striker Bojan Krkic is hoping that he can find freedom and happiness with his new team.

Bojan was tipped for great heights when he emerged as a teenager with Barcelona, but he failed to make the grade at the club and his career has not been the same since.

And now the 29-year-old wants to enjoy his football in Major League Soccer.

"Football, you know, is about the present," Bojan says in an interview with ESPN.

"And when you are not playing, it doesn't matter how many games you played. It doesn't matter where you played, you know, so it was tough to find a team in Europe where the mentality of the camp was playing football.

"For me, [my] last teams, they were not like my style, my type of football."

He added: "For me, the money is not the most important thing. For me, to be in the best team in the world is not the most important thing.

"For me, the most important thing is to be in a place where I can enjoy playing football, where I can help the team, the club, and where I can feel that they believe in me."
