Former Barcelona captain Carles Puyol admits becoming a sporting director is something that interests him.

Puyol currently works as an agent.

Asked about becoming a sporting director, he told Sport: "That's more interesting.

"There's a lot of competition in the world of coaching, some very good ones. I see myself more like a sporting director, in the future, but I don't know if it will happen.

"If it did it would be more as a sporting director than a coach."
