Real Salt Lake have signed young Portuguese midfielder/forward David Viana.
The 20-year old Portugal youth international joins the MLS club after spending time with Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid last year.
Viana, who has recently been scouted by French club Lille, told machainesport.fr that he is excited about his move to the Rio Tinto Stadium.
"I am very happy. This is a great opportunity for me. I am proud to represent Portugal here in MLS," he said.
"The atmosphere is good. I was very well received. Now I will give everything to help the club."
