Ex-Aston Villa, Man Utd keeper Bosnich: Chelsea won't let Cech join Arsenal

Mark Bosnich is confident Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho won't allow Petr Cech to join a Premier League rival.

The 32-year old Czech Republic international is likely to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer as he does not want to play second string to Thibaut Courtois.

There has already been plenty of speculation regarding where Cech will go next with the likes of Real Madrid and Arsenal linked but former Aston Villa, Manchester United and Blues keeper Bosnich suggests the latter will not be an option.

"You don't win anything without a great goalkeeper and that will be in the back of Arsene Wenger's mind," the Australian told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT.

"But I don't think he [Mourinho] would sell him to Arsenal because I think that would really tip the scales towards Arsenal."
