Aston Villa's former manager Paul Lambert is being linked with a sensational Borussia Dortmund return.
The Scotsman has been linked with the Dortmund job after current manager Jurgen Klopp announced yesterday that he will step down from the post at the end of the season.
Lambert is a hero with the German club's fans, having won the Champions League in 1997 as a player.
When asked about the possibility of him joining Dortmund, Lambert said: "Come the summer, I want to get back into football, whether that be in England or abroad.
"It's a club I know really well and I had a lot of success there as a player. It's a special club. People don't realise how big the club and the fanbase is.
"But whoever follows Jurgen has got a big act to follow."
