Trabzonspor are seeking to bring Gael Clichy back to Turkey.

Allowed to come off contract by Istanbul Baseksehir, the former Arsenal and Manchester City has been staying fit at home in France.

A move to Saint-Etienne has been mentioned for Clichy, but Fanatik says Trabzonspor are also keen.

Trabzonspor coach Abdullah Avci worked with Clichy at Istanbul Basaksehir and fancies a reunion.

Now 35, Clichy is eager to continue his playing career this season.
