Former Arsenal and Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil was in the matchday squad for Istanbul Basaksehir for the first time.
The ex-Gunner, who has struggled since moving to Turkey in his 30s, did not come off the bench in the clash.
Ozil was in the matchday squad as Basaksehir took on Royal Antwerp in the Europa Conference League.
The game finished 1-1, with the two sides set to play a second leg to determine who goes through to the next stage.
Ozil has been with the club since leaving Fenerbahce, with their boss Emre Belozoglu believing that Ozil can resurrect his career.
The 33-year-old scored nine goals in 37 games for Fener.
