Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry and ex-England and Manchester United captain David Beckham could both be in the MLS All-Star squad that meets the Red Devils in July.
United will travel to the USA for the second year in a row to take on Major League Soccer's best at New York's Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, July 27.
Last year, United took on the All-Stars and won 5-2 in Houston but this year they could face an old enemy and an old friend in the form of New York Red Bulls striker Henry and LA Galaxy midfielder Beckham.
Former United star Beckham was injured for the match in 2010 whilst Henry did not join the Red Bulls until mid-year making him unavailable for the game.
MLS Commissioner Don Garber said it was great to be having the Premier League giants back in the USA once again.
"We are pleased to host Manchester United again for our marquee summer event," he said in a statement.
"Our All-Star Game has become a true celebration of soccer, and our best players look forward to the challenge of competing against one of the top clubs in the world."
