Former Arsenal captain Gilberto Silva has backed Robinho to shine for Manchester City.

"He is going to play in The Premier League, which is probably the biggest league in the world," Gilberto, now of Panathinaikos, told Setanta Sports News.

"He will need to learn the language which will give him better possibilities of communicating with his team-mates.

"The rest is no problem, he is a gifted footballer."
