Ex-Arsenal keeper Wilson warns against Cech move

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson is against their move for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Wilson, who played in the great Double-winning side, thinks it would be the wrong move.

He explained to the Mirror: "I'm a huge admirer of Cech, the best goalkeeper in the Premier League for the last several seasons.

"But it would be blaming the goalkeeper when he's not the one to blame.

"I've always been a supporter of Wojciech [who went off injured against United], and at this moment I would remain that.

"He is still this young goalie who is progressing all the time.

"But he has got a really dodgy defence in front of him. It is a two-way thing. He can only do so much.

"People are going to jump on the bandwagon and start blaming the goalie, which I don't think he deserves. He is a really solid goalkeeper.

"We are very attack minded, almost naively thinking if the opposition score three, we'll score five.

"As George Graham used to say, you start with the defence."
