Former Arsenal defender David Luiz is edging closer to signing for Turkish outfit Adana Demirspor.

Foot Mercato says the Brazilian centre-half is about to move to Adana Demirspor.

The 34-year-old has agreed on a two-year contract with the Turkish club.

Luiz's contract with Arsenal expired at the end of the season. The veteran played 73 competitive games for the Gunners.

He had been in talks with Olympique Marseille, but is now set to extend his career with Adana Demirspor.
