Sol Campbell feels England were right to sack Chelsea skipper John Terry as captain.
The former Arsenal defender, who played alongside Terry for the Three Lions, insists the FA were left with no option after the Chelsea skipper was charged for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.
"You've got to send the right message to kids. It's not good to give and take away something like that.
"But in this case, yes, the FA had to do it."Campbell, capped 73 times by England said: "John is a great guy and a great player but, personally, I don't think they should have given it back to him in the first place.
