Former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie says son Shaqueel van Persie is superior to him in one aspect of his game.

Feyenoord prospect Shaqueel, 16, plays for the club's U17 team and is also a Holland youth international.

Asked when Shaqueel will make his senior debut, RVP told ESPN: "No idea. He is doing very well and plays well at Feyenoord and also in Oranje, that is the most important thing. We will see when he debuts."

Shaqueel recently stated he was better than his father in the air.

“That is really true, that is really a weapon of his," said van Persie. “I don't say anything to him about that, because he does it in his own way. He just has that timing incredibly well under control. If you consistently have such good headers, both offensively and defensively, then he can have that title."
