Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes the Premier League must be completed this season.

There is some speculation about a voiding of the league, which would result in no champion, promotion or relegation.

But Wenger does not think the integrity of the competition can survive an entire season being thrown down the drain.

The league is currently suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The FA has reportedly told Premier League clubs they would like to finish the season before June 30th, which means action would have to resume around the start of May.

Wenger told talkSPORT: "Yes of course, I believe that is the priority now for the Premier League to finish the season.

"I believe it is pushing certainly the season out until the end of June maybe but they have to do that."
