Former Arsenal boss Freddie Ljungberg is eyeing a move to Japan.
The Swede has stayed out of football since being replaced by Mikel Arteta at Arsenal last season.
And Ljungberg is now being recommended to managerless FC Tokyo. The J-League outfit are in need of a new coach after Kenta Hasegawa resigned following their 8-0 defeat to Yokohama Marinos.
Local media sources say former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has recommended Ljungberg to FC Tokyo directors.
Ljungberg had a short spell in Japan as a player with Shimizu S-Pulse.
