Former Arsenal boss Unai Emery is in contact with Real Betis.

AS says Betis have sounded out Emery about replacing Rubi should results not improve in the coming games.

Betis' LaLiga restart has seen a defeat to Sevilla and draw with Granada, leaving them in danger of relegation.

Emery, a former Sevilla coach, has been sounded out by Betis in recent days.

However, there is a reluctance on Emery's part to take charge of Betis at this stage in the season. He'd rather leave things until the summer so he can have a full preseason with his new squad.
