The former agent of Idrissa Gueye feels for the Everton midfielder after missing out on a move to PSG.

Gueye saw a dream switch to the French champs blocked by Everton in January.

Thierno Seydi told Wiwsport.com: "It's a shame that the transfer of Idrissa Gana Gueye to PSG could not take place. It is true that I am the one who launched this idea, because I had a discussion with Idrissa.

"And when I told him that PSG was looking for a midfielder in his profile, I told him why not try it. At first it's true that it was a bluff because I thought PSG was on another player. But I thought to myself that doing nothing was nothing.

"That's how it started, a discussion. After that, it went on and got complicated because there were a lot of issues and a lot of intermediaries. And as I said recently Idrissa is not linked with any agent."
