Former AC Milan striker Marco Simone isn't surprised seeing Silvio Berlusconi sell up.

Berlusconi is in the process of selling Milan to Chinese interests.

"All things end, for better or for worse. This may be the time to bring new resources to the club," Simone told TMW.

"There's been so many years that Milan has suffered from the lack of real investment in the team.

"Every year they should be able to do so and unfortunately we see that those who do not, do not compete for the championship nor in Europe."
