Rangers manager Ally McCoist has heaped the blame on himself for last night's shock League Cup loss to First Division Falkirk.
The reigning Scottish champions were beaten because of a late Neil Alexander howler which allowed Mark Millar's free-kick in, giving Falkirk a 3-2 victory.
But McCoist defended his goalkeeper and said the loss was his fault as he is in charge of the players.
"I shoulder all the responsibility for the result. I take the responsibility for the team and not much has been said in the dressing room as regards their third goal," he said.
"Sometimes after defeats like this there's not a lot to say.
"We didn't react to what was said before the game and that's the BIG problem we have.
"We will have a chat about it that's for sure.
"We must get a reaction at Dunfermline on Saturday because this is a sore one.
"There's not one defeat that's easier to take.
"I don't feel good right now, but then every Rangers fan heading home will feel as sick as me."
