Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar wants to sign permanently.

South Africa midfielder Pienaar is on loan at Everton, just 12 months after leaving for an unhappy spell at Tottenham.

He will line up against Swansea today and is keen to remain at Goodison beyond the end of the season. But he knows Spurs, who paid £2.5 million for him, will have to keep his transfer fee low for Everton to afford it, says the Daily Express.
