Everton academy chief Alan Irvine admits Manchester United's famous 1992 team inspired him to get serious about his coaching.
Irvine now runs Everton's youth setup after a spell away as Preston North End manager.
"I was very fortunate in that my first experience as a coach was to take a team to Old Trafford to play against the class of '92," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"They inspired me. I thought 'That's the way I want to see teams playing'. They had great individuals but they played as a team.
"I saw the Beckhams, Scholes and the rest develop from fantastic youth players into fantastic reserve players then onwards and upwards."
