Everton wing-back Bryan Oviedo has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Daily Star says Oviedo has suffered a metatarsal injury.
The 25-year-old suffered the blow to his right foot in training at Everton's Finch Farm training ground and will not feature again in this campaign.
Oviedo has only managed to play six league games this season having also struggled with hamstring problems, but Toffees boss Roberto Martinez says he will come back stronger.
"He knew straight away he'd done something bad," Martinez said. "It took him a couple of hours to get his head around it. Mentally he's in a good place now.
"It's incredible bad luck. His ankle rolled in a bad position. It's just unfortunate and he is going to be out for the rest of the season, and miss games with Costa Rica in the Concacaf Gold Cup."
