Everton have set their eyes on Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho, according to the Daily Mirror.
The report claims that Toffees manager Ronald Koeman has made a world-class midfield signing his priority this summer and is targeting a £30million move for the Euro2106 winner.
The 24-year-old Portugal international has been a regular feature in Sporting's starting eleven for the past three seasons, making over 100 appearances for his club.
The Merseysiders have also been linked with a move for Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel previously in the transfer window but Carvalho is now number one on their list, according to reports.
