Everton are ready to count on Jonas Lossl next season.

The Liverpool Echo says Lossl will return to Everton this summer to challenge Jordan Pickford for the No1 spot.

Lossl sealed a deadline day loan switch to Huddersfield Town in January and his contract with the Championship club runs until June 30.

The Danish goalkeeper is awaiting news from the Terriers over the possible resumption of their season but he will return to Everton in time to prepare for next season.

Lossl joined the Blues last summer on a three-year-deal after leaving Huddersfield at the end of his contract and is determined to return to Goodison and challenge Pickford, the club's established first-choice.
