Everton skipper Seamus Coleman says he's prepared to tell teammates home truths when needed.
Coleman - who also captains his country - says he strives to help his teammates perform to their best abilities and details how if he may seem to be “on their cases", it is a reflection of their considerable talents.
“If I have to tell someone to sharpen up, I will," he says to the club's match programme.
“But I want players to understand I am doing things for the right reasons.
“It is because I can see so much in these players. I want them to reach their potential – and realise they have massive opportunities.
“The likes Dominic [Calvert-Lewin] and Mason [Holgate] in the past, Jonjoe [Kenny], too, I want the best for them."
