Everton have reportedly enquired about Malaga midfielder Sergi Darder.

The Daily Star is reporting that the Toffees are keen on the 21-year-old who is believed to be eyeing a move away from Spain.

Roberto Martinez has signed only Tom Cleverley and Gerard Deulofeu this summer and is believed to be under pressure to bring in new players before the window slams shut on September 1.

Darder, valued at around £8million, was set to join French club Lyon recently but the deal fell through due to third-party ownership.
