Everton will reportedly sign West Brom winger Zoltan Gera on a free transfer if the Hungarian passes a medical at Goodison Park.
Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and Bolton were known admirers of Gera, who joined Albion from Ferencvaros for £1.5million in 2002.
The 29-year-old looks to have been lured to Goodison Park by Toffees boss David Moyes who can promise UEFA Cup football secured by a fifth-placed finish in the top-flight table.
Everton, who are looking to strengthen their midfield pool following the departure of Thomas Gravesen, and Gera is set to sign on the dotted line if he passes a medical on Merseyside.
