Everton boss David Moyes is passing on Andy Lonergan.

The Mirror says Moyes has cooled on a deal for Preston North End keeper Lonergan.

The Goodison chief had North End's Lonergan in for a training spell with the Toffees, but has decided to look elsewhere for cover for Tim Howard.

Moyes is expected to lose Jan Mucha in the summer.
