Everton's Martinez to give youngsters, returning stars chance against Krasnodar

Roberto Martinez has revealed some of his Everton starters for Thursday night's Europa League clash with Kuban Krasnodar.

The Toffees, who cannot lose top spot in Group H, host bottom-placed Krasnodar at Goodison Park in their final group stage fixture with Martinez insisting that some of his first-choice players will be given a rest.

The Spanish tactician confirmed that the likes of Steven Pienaar and returning senior players Antolin Alcaraz, Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone will start alongside a bunch of inexperienced youngsters who he feels should be given a chance.

"Joel Robles will play in goal and we're going to have Christian Atsu, Steven Pienaar, Arouna Kone, Bryan Oviedo, Conor McAleny, Antolin Alcaraz, Tyias Browning and Luke Garbutt playing because they have been working extremely well," Martinez said.

"And then we're going to have a couple of youngsters that are really, really exciting. I don't want to mention their names just yet. It's exciting for us as a club to show another two diamonds of our development system to show the good work being done in a fantastic environment.

"It's a really exciting game that I'm sure every Evertonian is looking forward to. We'll feel extremely proud of the individuals on the pitch."
