Everton's Coleman eyeing positive result in 'massive' game at Arsenal

Everton defender Seamus Coleman says the team needs to bounce back with a big performance at Arsenal on the weekend.

The Toffees take on the in-form Gunners at Emirates Stadium on Saturday and Coleman has highlighted how vital it is to take at least a point back to Merseyside after the 1-0 home loss to Stoke City on Saturday.

"We were disappointed on Sunday," he told the club's official website. "We thought going into the game we could make it three wins on the bounce.

"But it was difficult, we could not break them down and it was not to be. Now we have a massive game at the Emirates and there is no better place to put it right.

"(Arsenal) started slowly but they have got great quality in their team and it would be nice to stop them on Saturday."

Coleman added that it will be tough to stop Arsenal's star striker Robin van Persie while adding that it will be quite odd taking on former Toffees ace Mikel Arteta for the first time since his departure.

"Robin van Persie is fantastic, his finishing is brilliant and he always looks like he is going to score," he added. "And I am sure it will be a bit weird for Mikel Arteta playing against Everton for the first time.

"He was at the club so long and is loved by everyone here and it will be a big day for him, but on the day, we will be looking to get one over him."
