Everton are on alert with Joleon Lescott expected to be sold by Manchester City in the summer.
Everton boss David Moyes confirmed his interest in re-signing Lescott during last month's winter transfer window.
The Sunday Mirror says there are no plans to offer Lescott a new contract as he enters the final 12 months of his current deal.
