Everton boss David Moyes is planning a £4 million raid on Premiership new-boys Burnley for winger Chris Eagles.

The People says after loan spells with Watford, twice, plus Sheffield United, Eagles finally turned his back on Manchester United and joined Burnley in a bid to further his career.

Moyes has been impressed with what he has seen and is poised to bid for the midfielder.
